Concentrating so hard

Isaac is developing everyday now. It's one of the reasons I think going back to work will be so hard - I really don't want to miss out!

He can entertain himself for quite a while, today he sits playing with some toys. Sometimes he looks at me to reach the next toy if it goes to far from his reach.

I sometimes wonder what he's thinking as he looks so carefully at each toy and shoves them into his mouth.

He likes different colours, textures and sounds all part of his development I'm sure.

Isaac's first certificates!

Having a child is an amazing and life changing event. Every little thing that he does it's mind blowing! My little one has grown so quickly and learned so much about life. Of course he has so much more to learn but I'm so proud! I'm proud of the fact that he can sit so nicely independently, and he's doing so well with his eating (largely baby led - that's another post!).
Today we went to our penultimate swimming lesson, Isaac is becoming so much more confident in the water. He likes splashing and sitting in the shallow end. He will sit in the infant seat and he kicks his little legs when I help him swim on him tummy too. Today I was so proud because Isaac got 2 swimming badges and certificates! I didn't even know they were testing us, he came home with Starfish 1 and Starfish 2. Of course he tried to eat them when I gave them to him. Keepsakes forever I think.
